Autumn with Wildlife Models in Montana
Dates: September 30 – October 3, 2009
Imagine being in the wild, just
yards away from a mountain lion, a wolf, or even a bear, camera
in hand, trying to get yourself together to take that once in
a lifetime photo. Well, chances are, it will be out of focus,
a bad composition, or worse yet, you may have missed the opportunity
entirely because the animal ran away before you could center
yourself. Well, that won’t happen here, at the Triple D Game
Farm. The animals are absolutely terrific, gorgeous in every
way, and love to perform for photographers. You will be able
to take hundreds of photos while the animal is in their natural
habitat right in front of you. Consider this a practice session
for that safari to Africa. Animals can be a difficult subject,
so here is a chance to get acquainted with photographing wildlife
in motion and composing on the fly. You can expect to go home
with many “keepers” that range from close-ups to wide-angle habitat
images. |

We will spend 3 days photographing a variety of animals (8 sessions) in compounds specifically designed for photography sessions. The Triple D staff is amazing! You won’t find a friendlier group of people, and they have years of experience working with the animals. Chances are you have already seen many of these animals in print since they have been photographed by some of the industry’s leading pro photographers. Plus, you will have available, Pam Barbour, a veteran photographer of the Triple D Game Farm, to guide you and assist you with photography issues during our sessions. This workshop is designed to enable you to become a better wildlife photographer, both technically and visually. We have access to a conference room facility, which will enhance our workshop by allowing us the chance to review images and talk digital. We will work with Photoshop during the afternoons and learn new ways to enhance your images. |
