Professional Photographer, Pam W. Barbour, won acceptance into the Nature’s Best Photography International Awards exhibition at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History, in Washington, D.C. The landscape photograph, “Sunset in Antarctica” was awarded Highly Honored in the Landscape Photography category and was published in the 2006 fall edition of the Nature’s Best Magazine.
The exhibition was on display from November 10, 2006 until October 2007. Photographers of all ages, cultures, and levels of experience from 28 countries submitted more than 12,000 images to the Nature’s Best Photography International Awards, based in Reston, Virginia.
