Photographer, Pam W. Barbour has won acceptance into the Nature’s Best Photography International Awards exhibition at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History, in Washington, D.C. The photograph, “Sunset in Antarctica” was awarded Highly Honored in the Landscape category and has been published in the 2006 fall edition of the Nature’s Best Magazine.
The exhibition will open November 10, 2006 and display until October 2007. Photographers of all ages, cultures, and levels of experience from 28 countries submitted more than 12,000 images to the Nature’s Best Photography International Awards, based in Reston, Virginia.

This image is a tabular iceberg 1000's of feet tall and miles long located off the shores of the Antarctic Pennisula.. It was photographed with a Canon 5D and 500mm F.4L lens.
